Sex workers’ safety
Under the Sex Work Regulations 2016 (Vic), a sex work service provider or approved manager must ensure that a receptionist for a brothel or escort agency does not:
- misrepresent the qualities of any sex worker;
- negotiate on behalf of a sex worker the sexual services to be provided by the sex worker.
Each of these offences is punishable by a fine of up to 40 pu (s 7 Sex Work Regulations 2016 (Vic)).
